Default Post July 1st Application Question

To George or Allen or anyone else that can might know the answer to
this question --
My Skilled Independent with de facto spouse application was sent in to
DIMIA on June 21, 2004, and we received acknowledgement with a case
file number on July 6, 2004. Does this mean that our application
counts as a post July 1st application and we therefore should be
expecting med/pcc request soon?

It seems like a lot of other people here who have applied about the
same time have already received this - might our de facto evidence be
slowing the process down?

Thanks for your help - obviously getting a visa grant 6 months or so
sooner than we planned will affect our planning tremendously.

Thanks, you guys have been a big help so far.
Cheers
