Default Political Parties in Canada

Election is near. As a new Canadian, I want to vote, but there seem to have
so many parties. Liberal, New Conservative and NDP.

I looked at all 3 parties, but I don't understand the difference. They all
cry to help people and Canada. I saw a comparison paper of Canadian parties
before I was even a PR, and now I can not find the paper any more. Anyone
can help me to decide which party to vote. Please only give me difference
and comparison, not your personal favours.

Do not you think this is immigration forum, most of us here would not know
about politics of Canada yet.

May be you are ask from worng peoples.

You stayed in Canada for 1095 days to become Citizen and did not bother to
understand this...

Better take more interest in this country ........... then you would not be
asking this

Very simple break down:

Right: Progressive Conservative - Pay less taxes, very little emphasis
on social programs.

Left: Pay more taxes, more emphasis on social programs. (Welfare,
healthcare etc...)

Far left: NDP - supports labour unions...very socialist...lots of
taxes...

This is a very simple breakdown. The internet will provide you with
good info.
I am liberal but I am still a student. I haven't paid enough taxes to
complain and become conservative. I have been warned that happends as
you get older.

Presuming you're a Canadian citizen (if you're not, you can't vote), it
concerns me that you've been here long enough to get your citizenship yet
aren't up to speed on this.

Having said that, this question is better asked in an electoral or
political newsgroup, not an immigration forum.

Good luck finding your answers...there are plenty of sources out there.

Understanding that Canada has a constitutional left-wing bias:

(New) Conservative Party:
------------------------------
bias: left-right
system: low taxes, high personal responsibilities, long range planning,
majority rule.
stereotype: smiling rich white guy

Liberal Party:
---------------
bias: left-left
system: high taxes, high state responsibilities, short-range planning,
minority consideration.
stereotype: easygoing working-class family man

New Democratic Party
--------------------------
bias: very left-left
system: very high taxes, low personal responsibilities, reactive planning,
minority rule.
stereotype: bitter, loud, pushy, utopianist.

So, come election time, if you want Canada to be run like a restaurant, vote
Conservative. If you want it to be run like a cafeteria vote Liberal, and
if you want it to be run like a soup-kitchen, vote NDP.

Hmm what you mean to say is if you want it run like walmart (shitty
products, low prices but all products made in sweat shops oversees, and
no positive effect on domestic job markets), vote conservative.

If you want it run around in cirles (like a dog chasing it's
tail)...vote liberal...

If you want it to run long enough to figure out that's it's broken vote
NDP

If you want it to be a full of crackheads, vote for the freedom party

or

if you want it to moan and groan and whine adn complain vote for any
party coming out of quebec

Maybe. But the poster said he became a PR.
As a PR he cannot vote. That was my point.
