Default Police Clearance Certificate not necessary?

When my assessment came in, I was asked to provide FBI clearance
only... I was expecting to provide both FBI clearance and PCC from my
native country... I am a bit puzzled. However, I have already obtained
PCC, so I will send it anyway.. but am curious as to whether other
applicants from US, who have been assessed positively got the same
request? If so, can providing the PCC expedite the process of
background check?

I am a UK resident but have lived in the States and I had to get an FBI
clearance check and a Pennsylvania State Police clearance check too. I
would send everything, but I'm not sure that it will speed up the
process. Someone with more knowledge on background checks will know.

Good luck,
Tia

When we got our interview waiver, we were only asked to resubmit FBI
clearance certificates. I guess they want to know tht you are clear
from the time you submitted your application to the present.

Now I may be wrong here, but I'm assuming they have already started
your background and security check process when they waived your
interview.
