Default Please help -visa quetion

Hi Everyone
I'm trying to find out if I need to supply evidence of my relationship
as well as my marriage certificate to prove my commitment in my
relationship. I'm applying for a 136 skilled visa and the web link says
"whether you are married or in a de facto relationship you must include
evidence that your relationship is geuine" etc. Has anyone else had
these worries and what have you all done recently? Some people seem to
have just sent there marriage certificate, others have sent a lot more.
I'm very confused

I guess it depends how long you have been married and if you have any
children etc.

If you're newly married with no children it would help to send some
evidence of your relationship.

We were newly weds (married end December and put the application in
beginning Feb) and all we supplied was our marriage certifcate on
account of that was all our agent said we needed. We had actually been
planning to apply as de facto's so we'd collected all the necessary
evidence, but then we ended getting married due to other
circumstances...

Hi, Thanks Guys
Perhaps I'll just send our marriage certificate then. We've been married
nearly 11 years and have 3 children, so hopefully that's enough proof. I
may get jittery nearer the time of sending it though and send everything
!

Hello

We have just applied - married 18 years and 2 children. We were advised
to send in a statutory declaration from a couple of people who have
known us for some time so that's what we did. Only sent app off in
December so can't tell you how we got on at all!

If you want to PM me - I can send you the stat dec that one of the
friends did for us.

Tracy
