Default passport photocopies

For a 136 visa application, DIMIA want photocopies of all pages in the
passport that are not blank.

1. Does this mean every single page that has any kind of writing on it,
including the 'conditions of use page'. All 4 of us got new passports
last year so only have 1 stamp each.

2. can the pages be photocopied onto 1 sheet of A4 or does each page
need to be on a different sheet?

Many thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

We got our visa on the 1st April.

We photocopied all pages that we not blank, every single one of them!

We put them on separate A4 because it was easier and get all pages
certified.

Thats the way we did it and We have our visa so it cannot be wrong.

Hope this helps,

Libby

I just sent the bio pages from our passports (didn't see why they would
be interested in where we went on holiday outside of Europe).

Hi Paul

We made photocopies of all the non empty pages into a A4 and then got it
certified before sending to ASPC.

I am not sure why they need all the pages

Cheers

The Bio-page is the page in the front of the passport with your photo
and personal details on it.

As for which pages to photocopy I think that being literal about the
passport request is probably best - in other words, photocopy every page
in your passport that has any kind of stamp or personal data on it. I
think that for something as important as immigration you don't want to
leave out any information that could come back to bite you later!
Australian Immigration may very well be interested in where you have
spent your holidays and how long you were in each place.

Good Luck!
Brian

Its actually the back or second to back page in a UK passport (depending
on how new the passport is).

I can't see why Australia immigration would want to know where you had
your holidays since a new passport will show no stamps whereas an 8
year old one could have quite a few and with the European system you
can travel to a different country in Europe every day and not get a
single stamp.

If Australia want to know where you have travelled to they really should
ask on the application form. Myself and my partner have travelled to
the same places for the last 8 years (how long we've had passports for)
but whereas mine has more than 20 stamps in it my partners has only 3 as
he had damaged his previous passport and got a new one a year ago.

I would assume they'd be interested in the non blank pages as i would
imagine if you have been deported etc there would be some kind of stamp
in your passport to that effect??

But you could then just get a new passport with blank pages and DIMIA
would be none the wiser.

Ahhh a cunning plan...

But .... i am pretty sure there would be some sort of electronic
'footprint' that would also flag it up some how?
