Hi all,

I need your advice please. I lost my passport 3 weeks ago, the
good news is I got my replacement today. My question is can I send a
copy of my new passport to my case officer or wait till I get my
decision because i sent my medical and police unrequested 10days ago. By
the way I applied for class136 visa on 11th August 03 and I hope to hear
from the case officer very soon and I'm a bit worried if i send a copy
of my new passport now it might delay the process. Please Advice me what
is the best thing to do. Thanks Inadvance.

When you receive your med/pcc request from DIMIA, they will also ask
for a copy of your passport bio page for visa evidencing. You may just
want to get a certified copy of this new passport and include it at
that time, along with a letter explaining that the original passport
was lost and has been replaced.

Just send a form 1022 + certified copy
of the passport page with your photo+details now. Considering you
already sent in your meds and pcc, your case officer might go straight
to the visa grant, and I assume you'll want that visa in your new
passport...
