Default panic-points test risen

hi, can't believe this, i was out celebrating last night after receiving
a posiitve skills assessment worth 60points. i will have 115 points from
june 25th when have 3 years in my job, and now points test has gone up
to 120-how unlucky.

i have all my paperwork, so could i send my
application off now, to get it lodged b4 april 14th (on 115poibts)
without certain pieces of paperwork, i.e proof of 3 years in my job and
hope they ask for it later on and application still goes through,
considering it won't all be looked at for ages anyway.
help much
appreciated

mate, i think you might be unlucky. i was in the same position(waiting
for extra points for job experience) and was told i could not claim
those points once the application was submitted. have you considered
trying the STNI route?

yes, i think i might. i am also going to wait to see what
this new bush/regional visa requires. the current STNi route means i
would have to have a job offer before getting the visa and i don't want
to be tied down to a job.
fingers crosses eh?
cheers

Work experience is assessed based on how much you have at the date of
application. The fact they might only do this assessment 10 months
later is irrelevant - DIMIA are very strict on this point.

Why do you say you need a job offer for STNI? What's your occupation
and the state you're interested in?

One thing we don't know is whether the STNI scheme will be continued
when DIMIA bring in the regional visa. It's possible it might be
abolished, alternatively it's possible it might be kept alongside the
regional visa to allow States to sponsor directly for permanent
residence if they wish to.
