Hi everyone, we've just started the migration process and already I'm
pretty downhearted. Initially we were encouraged by the fact that my
husband's trade (roof tiler and slater) is in demand, and assumed that
would make the process quicker and easier for us, but I'm confused
already.

We've sent off our application to the TRA (sent 13th Sept) and although
the website says 10 working days, from reading all your posts it looks
as if it's much longer than that. Is this correct?

Has anyone applied for and STNI visa for WA? How long did it take?

And do I have to make an entirely separate application as a spouse?

I'm considering getting an agent because there is so much information
out there, it's blowing my mind! One minute I think I know what we need
to do, the next minute I read something that conflicts - AARRRGGGH! We
just want to get there as soon as possible!

Would be grateful for any shared experiences relating to the above
questions!

Hang in there with TRA, 10 days is a bit soon, you will get a response later
on, it took me almost 3 months to get my TRA.
