Default Overstaying visa -- possible problem for DIMIA application?

Hi Experts,

I am going to do an independent skilled migration to Oz. I was
working in Aus for 1 and 1/2 years. I happened to overstay my visa by
25 days. I had a 457 visa. My company takes care of all the visa
related work for us and they had in fact submitted an application for
the extension of the visa, but I had to leave before that came
through. So, technically, I overstayed the visa.

Will this be a potential problem when I submit my application to
DIMIA? I can explain the circumstances, but will they need proof that
my company filed for an extension? Not sure if I have anything to
prove that.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bornali.
