Oh bottoms!!
I have always been the kind of person that rushes into things without
thinking/reading properly. So after emailing all the extra info that
our CO wanted to her own email address, i read the letter to find out
that I should have sent them somewhere else. Not a problem I thought,
I'll just forward them to the right email address. Now it seems they
might have changed the email address and its still not right.
And if thats not bad enough, I have only just noticed that there is a
date on the letter by which we have to have all our outstanding
documentation to her by, and its the 25th Jan and we only had our
medicals today because the GP couldn't fit us in beforehand and there is
no way the results will get to them before then because they have to
wait a week for blood test results!
My new years resolution is to read things properly. I am on hold for
the ASPC which keeps cutting me off. GRRRRRRRR GRRRRRR
Okay, rant over. Somebody please tell me i don't have to worry too
much! Please.......
Denise

Re: Oh bottoms!!
It's okay, dear. Take a deep breath and relax! Everything will turn out
fine I'm sure. At least DIMA doesn't put you on hold with a corny theme
song. I can still sing Prudential's four years later...

As long as you have had or booked the meds they will extend your
deadline. Just fax a copy of your reciept to your case officer along
with an explaination that you have had them done and it will be fine.
They just need proof you have got the ball rolling.
When you say you had them done with the GP, you didn't mean your own GP
did you? Did you have them done by an approved doctor? I hope you read
that bit right:unsure:
All the best, Nicky x

Hi Denise,
We have been sending our scanned docs all over the place. OH contacted
our CO who told us of the change of email address. So we re-sent them
yesterday and got confirmation last night, however, this morning we got
confirmation of the emails we re-sent to the old addresss last weekend.
As long as you show them your letter claiming you had your medicals you
will be fine.
Good luck x

That made me laugh actually. Funny thing is though that my husband
decided to phone them last night and they said they had "received all
the documents that we sent before Christmas". Now that is amazing, I
didn't send any until 5th Jan and afterwards.
Now everytime somebody moans that they are slow, remember they are
working ahead of time and that is what's causing the problems.
