Dear All

I am from Pakistan previously I was applied for immigration to Canada
in 2001 from Pakistan unfortunately my case was refused on Sep 2005 due
to one fake job reference letter. At the time of interview the Canadian
Embassy Islamabad embassy mark a Blank stamp on my passport (where they
will later paste the visa beside that I have not any evidence of
refusal of visa)

Due to refusal of immigration visa of Canada they will imposed two
years of band on me for further applying to Canada which was held on
2005 Sep. till 2007 Sep

My old passport expired on feb-2005 I have new passport now I am only
show this passport for Australian immigration

I am just applying for Australia immigration with all true documents I
got positive assessment I log offshore 136 visas in which form 80 Q, 9
I am not show my old passports ( from which I refused to Canadian visa)
further Q 33 I am not telling them I was refused from Canadian
embassy.

My 136 off application received date to dimma was 25 Sept 2005 still I

There sir I am not received the acknowledgement letter yet i send my
documents on 20 Sep 2006 for dimma. my question is that DIMMA will
inquired to all Embassies like Canada?

Can I now update after receiving file no i.e
Form 80 Q.no 9 I will add one more passport # I telling the reason I
forget to tell you etc,
Form 80 Q no 33 I will tell yes I refused to Canadian embassy due to
that reason?

There sir I am waiting value able decision to yours .can u telling me
that can I tell or not?
Is there effect my process can I refused asutrlia visa due to that
reason I am very confused I hope will you gave me value able advised.

As with anything in life, honesty is the best and should be the only
policy. You do not have a legal obligation to tell DIMA that you were
refused a visa for Canada, but if it bothers your conscience, then maybe
that's your answer.
Oh, and by the way, DIMA people quite often browse through these forums.

Well... I don't think the lack of acknowledgment has anything to do with
the lies you told on the form. The truth is that they are just really
behind with acknowledgements right now.

Now... you've put yourself in a difficult situation because if they
discover that you lied you will denied a visa for sure. There is no way
that they would believe that you "forgot" that you applied for a Canada
visa. On the otherhand it would be very unfavourable if you were to try
to correct the situation now as they would definately see your actions
as deceitful.

Even if you do get the visa I believe they would have the right to
revoke it if they ever discovered that you lied on the application form.
In all honesty if you want the visa you're probably better off not
saying anything.

Now on a personal level I hope you don't get your visa as I'd hate for
you to take the place of someone more deserving. I'm sure you have your
reasons for wanting to leave your current country, but I don't believe
you should try to lie your way into another.

I apologize if that offends you, but I find deception offensive.

I agree with what you said.

Look, the guy is complaining or fearful that DIMA is taking so long to
acknowledge his application. Somehow, I do not blame DIMA for going to
great lengths to check the authenticity of the applications, if there
are people like that out there giving fake information. (for both
Canada and Australia)

It gives the new immigrants a bad name.

I actually hope he was at least truthful about his name on this site
. Then maybe they will go... "hey look here's Jimmy from
Pakistan applied Sept 20th, this is the guy who lied on his
application.... denied."

Seriously if they are reading this forum and he was not smart enough to
lie once again about his name then he's made it so easy for them to
refuse. All they would have to do is check with Canada.

Being from a high risk country such as India, they will actually do
stricter checks. The liklyhood is that they will find out.

You asked if you can tell DIMA.... well of course you can tell them.
You actually should have told them in the first place.

Then you ask for advice from George. Well I'm quite certain that an
agent has certain ethics to uphold and could not possible advice you to
continue to lie to him. I doubt he will step in to give you advice
here because:

a) he is not your agent and you are not paying him for advice
b) this has the potential for getting very complicated for anyone who
advises you at this point
c) why would anyone want to help you get out of a mess you
created by lying

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that if George were to give
you advice the only thing he could tell you to do is tell the truth.

But again... I am not George so George please feel free to correct me if
I have spoken wrongly.

Yes, tell DIMA that you were refused a Canadian visa because you lied on
your original application. They may see it as an attempt to be truthful
and take that as a good sign or they may look upon it as you are just a
liar who is afraid he will get caught out. Either way, you lied and
were caught.
