Default Need some info.. Pls ..ACS - Assesment Computing Professionals

I've been through the site and i find it very useful. I need some
information and i hope someone can help me with it.
My husband plan to apply for PR in aussie under general skilled.. He is
an IT professional , actually a QA engineer.. Can he apply for the MODL
( 2231-79 (java) .. Does anyone know ,how he ACS asses the term
"Computing Professional" ? If the experiance has to be in development
or design specifically ..or Is Testing & QA experiance in a certain
area ( For example java ) given the same weight as programming and
design?

Thanks

.. Aga ..

Hi Aga,

If you can't find the answer in the ACS guidelines, particularly the
first section which describes all the eligible IT occupations, you'll
probably need to try a migration agency like us which specialises in IT
applications. Sorry, this isn't a feeble attempt at self-promotion,
just the fact of the situation.

Cheers,

George Lombard

Agasthi

You're better off seeking professional advice on this one. Without
looking at your CV and experience, I won't comment publicly for
liability reasons.

I will probably be able to answer you as this is right up my alley, but
I'd prefer to see your CV first before I comment. Obviously, this won't
happen in a public forum like this.

If you wish to contact me, you can use the email address in my sig, or
look my registration number up at the MARA website and email me from the
details there. http://www.themara.com.au is where the MARA's at.
