Naturalization in the UK for Naturalized Canadians born in Japan.
Hello, I am in the worst spot in terms of being able to come to the UK even as a Commonwealth citizen. I am a dual national with Japan and naturalized as a Canadian citizen. I know the Queen is on the Canadian money, but having no ancestry in the UK, nor being a Canadian who was born in Canada, but a naturalized one, I am wondering how slim are my chances at being able to find work in the UK, and becoming even a permanent resident? To the British, I am still Japanese principally, and Canadian secondarily. This is fine by me, as I am still a guest, so I am willing to be humble about it. I am baffled which passport to use to enter the UK. I do have a BA from a Canadian university, but I am over 30, so the UK work visa scheme is no good any longer. How about getting a government job? I know that the UK pound is 2.3 to our Canadian, and the Yen is at par with the Canadian, so I really want to come to the UK to obtain wages rather than work for peanuts in Canada.
