Mr. Miller please advise
I'm currently working in Canada as a MIS analyst under NAFTA, and therefore
my work permit is only good for one year.
Since I need more than a year on my work permit, I am thinking of using
the facilitated processing for IT workers program since NAFTA will never get
me
more than a year.
Could anyone please let me know what the maximum validity period is for a
work permit if I apply under this program?
Also, I am a permanent employee at a major bank in Canada. What kind of
letter
should I get from my employer? (I'm technically not supposed to be a
permanent
worker, right?)
Lastly, where should I apply? I am a U.S. citizen.
Thank you
