I'm sure this never occurred to a deep thinker such as yourself, but I
didn't attack anyone, so what occurs to me is irrelevant. What is relevant
is the perception gained by the yobs who perpetrated the crime. They see
their co-religionists being abused and murdered on a daily basis by the
people they imagined were the co-religionists of the lady on the train.
Given that they were low-life scum predisposed to violence, it's
therefore not amazing what outlet their predisposition found.

Pose your question more precisely - what attacks are you talking about?
What do they have to do with the present situation? Why might I need to
guess what the rationale for some unspecified attacks a long time ago
might be?
