For MODL 2231-79(Java) Specialization experiance ! - Should it be immediate?

I plan to apply for the ASCO Computer Professional nec 2231-79(Java)
which is in the MODL list. It is stated that you require 12 months
experience to be granted the specialization. I would like to know if
this 12 months work experience has to be immediate. Can I claim on
Java Experience which is from 2002 �? 2005?

u need at least 4 years experience and least the last year experience
in java with BSC Degree

thanks..

So if i have 3 to 4 years of java prior to 2006 and have experiance in
some other area in 2006 , I am not eligable for Java Specalization ? Am
I right ?
