Default Medical Exam Results not reached Visa office.

Hi,

I have applied for Permanent Residence at Immigration office, Buffalo,
NY - ,USA. I had undergone Medical examination in Sep 2003 along with
my Family members. Now when I asked for the status of my file, they
say they did not recieve my medical exam results, but my family
members's results are in and valid till Sep 2004.
Who should I contact for knowing the status of my medical exam. Dont
the Immigration office inform me if they find any problem with my exam
report?

Did anyone face this kind of problem. If so, how did you follow it up.
Any advice on how to follow this up would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

UB

Go to the DMP where your medical was done and ensure that it was sent to the
appropriate office. Then, if so, send a fax to the visa office with the
information and ask them to follow up with the medical authorities.

Sorry to hear about this.

Not sure who you asked about the status of your file.
Did you get a CAIPS report that indicates that your medicals didn't
get through? I spent quite some time trying to find a way to talk
to a human over there - no luck: the only ways to get feedback I could
find so far is via snail mail, fax or CAIPs report. If you know some
other ways of communication, pls advise.

I'd contact your doctor first. He/she may have experience in
dealing with similar situations. The doctor may have their own
channels/contacts for these type of inquieries.
If no luck, send a fax and snail mail to Buffalo.
In worst case may have to do your medicals again.
I think if you do them around April-May you should be OK.

Good luck.
