Default maybe a silly question- where will my application go?

Ok before i start i'm sorry if i say something that sounds absolutely
stupid, im trying to learn as much as possible about the immigration
process but a lot of it goes over my head, to be perfect honest.

I am married to a US citizen, living in NY/CT (properties in both)
and all of our forms AOS, permission to work, etc (i dont know all
the names) where sent today from our lawyers office. I have a co-
sponsor also...

what i wanted to know is what immigration office will these go to? our
lawyer is in NYC, but the property registered on the forms is in CT, i
imagine this will make a differance?

its not of major importance but i have been looking up "average" time
lines online and its a lot of differance between NYC and CT. Or will
it all just go to Chicago? (somebody said this, dont know wether its
true or not)

We are in Greenwich if the area in ct makes any differance to what
office it will go to.
anyway,t hanks in advance for any possible help,

Hi:

It is sent to the "Lock Box" in Chicago for initial input and then
forwarded to National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. NBC
does the adjudication on the EAD and advance parole applications and
sets up the Biometric appointments at your local ASC.

When the case is ready for interview, it will be sent to the appropriate
office -- which is based on location of the APPLICANT -- so I guess that
would be Hartford for you.

If the NBC in Missouri adjudicates it, why does everyone say we should
look at the Service Center processing dates??
I'm a little confused...I'm in Arizona so I thought I should look at the
CSC processing times, but I guess thats not true.

Hi palgia,

It depends what petition or application you are looking up. For
example, an I-130 filed for a spouse who is overseas, or an I-129F filed
for a fiance who is overseas, you will look at the service center
processing dates (for example, CSC).

For an AOS application (I-485 & I-130 filed concurrently in the
USA), you will look at your local office processing dates (for
example, Phoenix).

For EAD and AP, which are processed at NBC, you will look at the
National Benefits Center processing dates.

Hope that helps clear it up for you.
