Default Marrying and Living Abroad

I am an American working overseas. I am hoping to soon marry a Pakistani girl. We both live in the Middle East. If I go for the K3 or C1 US visa, can I do all this from overseas?

Once married, I dont want to leave her for the US months at a time nor even have the finances to travel back and forth to visit her regularly. My ideal would be to find new work overseas to support us on and live abroad until her visa comes through the embassy or consulate. Then start towards the permanent residence stuff. I am aware of the K1 visa, but we would not want this as her family could never attend a marriage in the US (for financial and other reasons).

So which visa route should I go for marrying and living with her while we wait for approval?

If anyone could offer advice on this specific situation, I would be appreciative. Thanks!
