Default M5 Medical Status, Mr. Miller and Experts Please Help !!

Hello All,
I sponsored my parents and my brother as dependent family class,
however my brother was diagnosed as M5 and inadmissible.

My brother recently got treated from having a sort of cancer but
currently in remission. The five years have not been passed and I
think because of which he was assigned M5 status.

Will my brother be allowed for a second medical review after, say,
passing 5 years from initial diagnosis to re-assess his conditions? If
this is the case, how will the immigration file be effected because
after, say 2 years from today, will they re-assess my brother's case
only for medicals or they will re-assess every thing including his
dependency to parents status as well?
I do not know how this re-assess process works. Any one please explain
this to me.

Thanks very much and waiting for your reply.

Your family can re-apply later once there is evidence of long term
remission. I am not a doctor and only the CIC can give an assessment, but
M5 is not a permanent judgement.

Just an additional note. If and when your family is refused you of course
can file an appeal and argue on fact or law and on Humanitarian and
Compassionate grounds. If they are refused and and you do not apeal the case
is at an end and you would have to reapply on thier behalf and the process
will begin anew. If you brother is over age and is not a dependent son he
will be off the application.
