Of course they can be checked upon, but you should not if
you haven't been waiting for the normal processing time yet. If you
start asking questions before that, 9 out of 10 times the answer will be
"be patient, and wait for a case officer to be assigned to your case"
and you won't be any wiser. And in 10 out of 10 times your impatience
has caused additional work for ASPC and hence effectively slowed down
the processing of your and everyone else's application. And a question
like "Will my Meds still be valid in time of processing" you can answer
just, or at least almost, as accurate as ASPC, yourself by checking on
this forum and on austimeline to see what the average waiting time is at
the moment. And of course there's a lot of uncertainty in that, but
unless you already got a case officer, ASPC won't be able to take away
that uncertainty, because they can't see in the future and tell you
exactly when they'll get to your case. You chose for that uncertainty
yourself when you front loaded. Again, this is all assuming your case
isn't getting priority processing.
