Default London Vs Buffalo

1:I qualify to apply from US (buffalo) and London also (I am Indian
passport holder). I also have visa for both US & UK, so I can go to
both these places if called for interview. Any idea, which place, has
faster processing time under skilled worker category.

Thanks for your time

It is not a question of having visas but where your have resident status for
at least one year or the country of which you are a citizen.

Nice Try

To be eligible to apply through visa post other than New Delhi you must be
lawfully admitted to particular country for at least 12 months. Having valid
visas to UK or US doesn't make you eligible to apply through London or
Buffalo. Being Indian passport holder doesn't make you eligible to apply
through London if you are not in UK being admitted there for at least 12
months.

I do qualify to apply both in US and london.
Iam working in US from last 1 year and my wife is in London(in case
we apply from london she would be principal applicant instead of me).
I hope this clarifies that i can apply from both these places, so back
to my previous question.which place has faster processing time under
skilled worker category..London or Buffalo(US).

Thanks again,
Next time i'll make my question more clear and with more background
information.

It is absolutely irrelevant which visa post is "faster" now - what matters
is which one will be faster when your case will be assessed and completed.
Answer to this question you can only get from your local fortune teller.

Just FYI - both visa posts' timelines are at present about the same when
processing applications of non-US (Buffalo) and non-UK (London) nationals.
Regardless which visa post will be processing your case several tasks will
be done by New Delhi anyway as well as background/security check will be
done outside CIC by Canadian intelligence and security agencies.

Shopping for "faster visa post" never pays off, even if you are eligible to
apply through few of them.

Even if you are legally entitled to make an application to another CIC
post, you should ask yourself a few questions:

- which visa office is going to be more familiar with my education and
work experience?
- which visa office is more/less likely to give me an interview
waiver? (and do you need/have the necessary tourist visa to attend
interview?)
- if some tasks have to be performed by another visa post, what
priority will they have if referred from elsewhere?

If you apply on an out of jurisdiction basis, even if legally entitled
to, you may find your application takes a lot longer than the standard
processing time for that post. That's not to say you shouldn't
consider doing so - eg, if one visa post is *really* slow, or your
skills and work experience are spread across a variety of countries,
but for most people there's a fairly obvious visa post and usually it
should be used.

This is not intended to be legal advice in any jurisdiction

In term of initial assessment, London is much quicker than Buffalo, if you
look at timeline posted here. In London, most of them had ~8 months for
initial review, in Buffalo, it is over 15 months.
