Default living arrangments on defacto

My apologies if this has already been answered, I had a search but
nothing was coming up.

I have been with my girlfriend for over 3 years now, we have a few
documents like phone bills, car insurance but the main point is we have
lived with both sets of parents for the majority of the time (only 6
months rented, house was in my name/ not both).

Is there a chance that we might qualify for this visa?, if we have clean
health/police records and bank/phone/statements etc etc?? Or is the
Living arangments the main criteria? we can obviously obtain letters
from any number of family memebers from both sides, though nothing
obviously official.

My girlfriend is Australian and myself Scottish.

Regards, stuart

Hi Stuart,

I am sorry I don't know the answer to this, but I would be very
interested to hear the results of this as I am in a very similar
situation (although I am lucky enough to be Welsh!!! )

Hi Stuart,

Do you mean that you've lived together with each of your sets of
parents? Do you have bills/bank accounts etc in your joint names
covering that period of time too?

Get the parents to do Stat Decs outlining the living arrangements - ie
the fact that you both contributed to the bills, and most importantly
that they witnessed you living there as a de facto couple.
Very common situation, so don't worry

Hi,

Yes both sets of parents have provided our accommodation, sasha's
parents for 6 months for me and my parents 18 months for her.

We have bills coming to the address, and have just opened a joint
bank account,

thanks for the re-assurance!
