With my medical request this morning was a request for a letter from the
mother of my children, who are not migrating with us, to confirm she
will not let the children have a medical.

When I sent the application, I put in a stat dec to say that their
mother will not allow them to have a medical and I know that there is no
way she will give me a letter.

Would love some advice from those who have been there before, I have
tried to do a search but unsuccessfully!!!

Unfortunately every case like this is different. You need to show DIMIA
the request for the children to do medicals is 'unreasonable' in the
circumstances. If you have no custody or access rights and can document
this, it would be helpful.

Otherwise you probably need professional advice from an
experienced agent.
