Default Leaving on AP - Surrender I-94 ?

Hi, my wife will be leaving tomorrow back to visit her country. I
noticed on the I-94 it says you must surrender it when you leave the US.
The I-94 Expired back in May 2004.

My question is I noticed for the AOS interview which is coming up next
month it says to bring that to the Interview. So will she get another
I-94 when she comes back with the AP papers?

Thanks,

Joe

Yes and Yes

Make a copy of it, front and back, before she travels for your records.

All "foreigners" have to fill out an I-94 each time they enter the US,
and surrender it each time they depart.
