My Lawyer is NYC and said the same to be honest... he said four months
and its so going to be longer than that, he is charging the 1500 too,
I've spoke to a few people who have hired an immigration lawyer in NYC
and they have all paid about the same.
I dont really think that its going to be four months but he keeps saying
that the interview will be by march... i half trust him half not, just
because i have read SO many other places that it has taken months and
months or even years.
We did send out documents out last week and have had receipts etc
already, however, thats the receipts, no real stuff... i got excited
dont get me wrong but its nothing really!
the lawyer is worth it for me though, because i like the idea that we
will have somebody with us at the interview, he also brings some human
rights person in too, that along is worth the money for me.
Personal choice, some people do it perfectly well without a lawyer, i
wouldnt be able to.
