Re: K3 Approved May 11th from VSC
The I-129F is the K3 petition. The I-130 is the 'green card' petition.
I assume you wife is the alien. The daughter could qualify for a
derivative K4 visa, based on the K3, but if you go with the immigrant
visa for your wife there will be no derivative visa for the daughter.
You will have to file another I-130 for your step-daughter from
scratch.
The I-130 arriving at the consulate kills any K visa in the works, so
you'd better let NVC know not to send it if you want to use the K3
instead.
