I applied for I-751 in December 2002, got an extension on my Alien card for
a year, which of course expired before I got anything from INS. I personally
went to the office and got a stamp in my passport for another year
extension, which expired on 1/9/04. I had my N-400 interview on 1/22/04,
which I passed. Today, I got a call!! from my interview Officer asking me
for additional evidence because of my Conditional status. I guess that will
take care of the I-751. Keep your hopes up!
