I am in the same boat. Came over in
December, never got NOA2 (neither online or on paper)from VSC. When my
husband called the no-info line, they told him I would have to leave the
country immediately... so much for that...
When I filed for AOS (walk-
in, Boston... geee, I was lucky) I brought the approval letter from the
NVC with me and explained that we never received an official NOA2 from
Vermont. I don't know if I was lucky or not, the officer (who by the
way was from Albania and *very* charming - we Europeans got to stick
together after all...) took my documentation, scheduled an interview but
made it clear that we should at least bring proof that we had filed for
a duplicate document to our interview...
How did you approach VSC in
your request for the document? We are not sure about which way to go for
the documentation (though of course the most obvious, slowest and most
expensive way would be filing a request for a duplicate of a notice we
never ever got...).
Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Rebecca.
