There is definitely a healthy job market for java and web apps. However siting in India and finding a job is not really possible unless an employer wishes to sponsor you. Having said that... ur first step wld be to apply to Australian Computer Society for skills assessment. Have you heard of points system..if you score 120 points u should be able to migrate to AU and then find a job for urself. Having lived in AU for 2 years ..let me advise you..the better you speak / communicate in English...the easier it is to find a job.
