Actually, the EADs are being processed faster. I applied on December 7
for a renewal, the sent the receipt the same day. Surprisingly, they
also sent me my appointment letter on the 14th of December, and the
appointment is slated for December 28. Last time, it took about 6 weeks
after my fingerprinting for me to get my card in the mail.
