Default Information update after waiver notice???

Experts:

The following is my time line

1. Submitted PR through Buffalo on Nov. 1, 2001
2. Received initial assessment on Dec.7 2002 which requesting an interview in
Seattle
3. Got a letter from Seattle on June 2003 asking new forms in 3 months.
4. Sent new forms on September 8, 2003. Had a new born boy in Canada on
Aug. 30, indicated in the new form that Birth Certificate(not yet at that
moment) would be sent later. Applied WP (under software pilot project) in
Vegrevile on Aug. 6 and also indicated in the new form that I would
send the WT once I get it(expecting arranged employment points).
5. Got letter from Seattle on September 19, 2003 requesting RCMP certificate
and updated police certificate from China within 2 mons and waiving my
interview .

Question:
1. RCMP announced 150 days to complete fingerprint check, no way to get the
result sent to Seattle within 2 mons. How do I explain to Seattle? Do they
terminate my case if they don't get the new info on time?
2. I have got the birth cert. for my son, should I update with CHC Seattle?
Also I've received WP from Vegrevile. To my supprise, it'll be valid until
Sept. 2006(my passport expiration date). I expected 1year WP as many
noticed in this group even though I asked for 3 years. Should I also update
Seattle with the new WP at this step?

Appreciate your advices
