Default immigrant visa and a prior B-2 visa-PLease Help

I am in the process of getting an immigrant visa
through my husband (a GC holder). I have been in the US as a student
for almost 8 years with my husband. AFter finishing
I went back to my home country to fullfill a 2 year
home residency requirement. I was able to get a B-2 visa
while my hsuband was on an H-1 visa. I have
used the B-2 visa to visit my husband almost twice a year
for the past 4 years. I have never overstayed my visa.
Now my question is this: would the fact that I was able to
get a B-2 visa affect my immigrant visa issuance?
When I originally applied for the B-2 visa I stated on the application
that my husband was in the US on an H-1 visa. The interviewing officer
told me that I am eligible for an H-4 visa. I thought I was not
since I was subject to the 2 Year HRR. The officer told me to rewrite
the application and not mention my busband.
Will this come back to haunt me now?
