Default I Need To Bring My Spouse To The Us, I Need Very Urgent Help

Hi,
I got US citizenship through marriage to a USC last year. Is it possible
to marry and bring someone now from my country as a spouse?

Will my first marriage be viewed with any bad look or suspicion by USCIS
since we divorced few months after I became USC or is that irrelevant
and am now trying to bring new person to marry?

Please help me, so that I can know whether I need to wait.

No, you're married already!

Oh, so you're not married. Not sure if the USCIS will look at this with
suspicion but I sure do!

IMNSHO you should wait. It seems obvious that you're not that good at
marrying! After 1 year of failing at marriage you're gonna do it again
and internationally?!? Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me!

You cannot file an I-130 for your spouse if you gained lawful permanent
resident status as a result of marriage to a US citizen unless:

1) a period of five years has elapsed since you
became a lawful permanent resident; or
2) you can establish by clear and covincing evidence that
the prior marriage (through which you gained your
immigrant status) was not entered into for the purpose
of evading any provision of the immigration laws; or
3) your prior marriage (through which you gained your
immigrant status) was terminated by the death of your
former spouse.

Does this apply only to LPRs who are filing for their spouses or to US
citizens who are filing for their spouses but who became citizens as a
result of getting LPR through marriage?

Am a US citizen already, am not LPR. Does the bar still apply for people
who become USC by marriage?

About my current spouse, we were having problems already but she agreed
we hold on and stay together until I become USC.

So if I visit UK and I meet a new girlfriend or old girlfriend for
that matter, AFTER I DIVORCE, I cannot bring the girlfriend here and
marry her? I thought one is free to marry after divorce as soon as
you divorce?

If I have to wait after becoming USC before I can petition for someone,
how long must I wait?

If USCIS will look badly on first marriage, what will they do?

I did not edit last email, some facts were not accurate.

Here are the facts:
1.Am currently SINGLE because I divorced USC spouse who helped me become
USC after 3 years of marriage.I divorced last year.

2.Now am considering going back to get new woman from UK

3.Will my first marriage be looked at bad if I try to bring someone here
either by DCF or K visa?If so, does it mean am limited to marrying
another USC only?

What can I do? Can I lose my USC status because of trying to bring
new spouse.

Sorry I dont know much about US law and I need to know my rights
as American.

My opinion would be that once you are divorced, you are divorced. You
can marry whom ever you choose. And now that you are a USC, no matter
how you got that way, you are one and can petition to bring a spouse or
fiance over as you wish. You might have to explain your last
marriage/divorce at some point in the process, but you were married for
at least 3 years and have been divorced for 1 year? I would think that
you would be able to successfully petition for a new spouse or fiance.

That's my best guess... anybody else?

why do you have to 'get new woman' from uk' ?? - there are a few single
women in US - surely as you are already in usa would it not be easier to
meet someone in the same country as you??

So what are you, divorced, married, single? You keep flip-
flopping about.

Am divorced. I got that mixed up.

The reason I was thinking about 'someone new' is because my marriage
failed because of some deep cultural issues with my wife.

Is it something USCIS usually does to go back and look at that first
marriage? What evidences will they need to look at before they can
approve me to bring in someone new either on K visa or DCF?What
documents should I have ready for that scrutiny?

I appreciate everyone's help on this.
