Well it has just about started to sink in now.

Not sure when I will be heading out yet, I have to validate by the 27th
November - whether I go permanently or validate then come back for 6
months to wrap things up is still to be decided. Depends on the work
front here really! Everything else is more or less sorted, I sold my
house last year on the basis that I was going to get the visa!!

Hi, well done on the house selling last year, things are dead here still
waiting for visa but aint going no where until house sold.

Are you going on your own?? Where abouts are you going?

Cor dear I was so pleased I decided to sell last year, got rid of it
just before things slowed down! Good luck with your sale, hope it all
gets sorted soon so you can make your move.

It is most likely I will be going out on my own. That was always the
plan but I have been seeing someone for a while since I applied - she is
thinking about coming out but I doubt it!?

I was heading to Perth as thats were my folks are but looks like
workwise I will be better off in Melborne or Sydney. I am starting to
put some feelers out and we see how things pan out.

Well loads of luck where ever you end up. Sounds like Melbourne or
Sydney would be good, then you can have holidays at your folks get best
of boths worlds :D

where are you planning on heading too once the house stuff is sorted?
