Default i am in a very serious dilemma

its been nearly 6 months since i started preparing my documents.
Finally i got everything (with clear 72 points) ready even the fees
application forms everything (ready to mail within two days). Just
today i realized that my police report was 6 months and 1 week
old.GOSH!!! you may imagine my condition now.
it happend actually because i got my IELTS scores later than a
expected date

again a nightmare to make another police report, lots of formalities
to go through again and quite time consuming.

I need your serious suggestions, should i submit as it is and include
a request letter to accept my present police report and wait to see
if they ask for a new updated letter
or there is no way go get a new one

thanks in advance
i would really appreciate your suggestions

Just submit with a note that an up to date police certificate will be
obtained. Once you have received the file no. then submit it. I assume
that you are submitting to Buffalo, otherwise unless you have arranged
employment, you should be submitting a SAP application.

For the purpose of immigration police clearance certificates are only
valid for 3 months. My advice will be to submit the old police
clearance certificate. If they deem necessary they will ask you to
obtain a fresh one. You did not have to wait for IELTS either you
could have submitted a written proof of language proficiency and
updated them with IELTS later.

Thank you so much PMM and samm
I will go ahead with the old ones alongwith the request letter and
wait for their response. (hope nothing serious happens just because i
submitted the old ones)-:-(

Samm, yes i did think of giving IELTS once they ask but going through
numerous threads and experts views in this forum and elsewhere, i was
not confident with even the most strongest written proof of english
proficiency- this would lead to two problems later, the first is delay
in processing and second the interview. I would rather wait two weeks
now rather than two months later for IELTS and interview
