Guess it all depends on the type of backlog there is to be dealt with in
each center isnt it? My friends mailed their applications away on
October 16th recieved NOA's on all three applications 10 days later on
October 26th. Yesterday Nov 3 they recieved an appointment letter for
biometrics for EAD....appointment date 9th November. Their case is MSC
(Missouri I think) they are in Nebraska so Im guessing thats right. I
was telling then their case is progressing a lot faster than mine did so
that was good news for them. Then just this afternoon I heard from them
that they had just got an email notification that a letter was mailed
yesterday requesting further evidence is needed for their 485 Naturally
that sent panic through the two of them but Ive told them not to sweat
it until they know exactly what is required.
It seems like some centers have a real back log while others seem to be
processing things rather quickly so just the luck of what center you
come under I guess.
