Default I-751 Approval letter and timeline

Got notice of removal of conditional basis of lawful permanent residence
letter today (NOV 3rd). It was approved on Oct 3rd. Took exactly one
month to get to us but just in time for our christmas trip. The letter
asks us to schedule with infopass for greencard processing (which, we
had already submitted 3 pictures with our application). Anyway, the
letter came in plain white paper, typed and digitally signed by director
and also given information on which INS office to report to for green
card processing. It also reminds us not to travel overseas unless
passport is endorsed or have new green card in hand. Question here, one
the same appointment, can we have passport stamped at the same time? or
do we need two appointments?

OH, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!
FYI, here is our timelines

July 2003 AOS filed
Sept 3rd 2004 AOS approved with conditional greencard
Sept 17th 2004 Greencard received
June 05 I-751 filed
June check cashed
Never receive receipt/extension letter
Oct 23rd got email about our approval
Nov 3rd paper approval letter arrived in mail

Congratulations. What Service Center did you go thru?

I received an I-751 approval letter this week from the Vermont SC, and
it said: "you will receive a separate notice regarding the date and
place of your appointment at your local Application Support center to
take your photograph and collect other data needed to produce your new
Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)."

So unlike your letter, Infopass wasn't mentioned.

Thanks CharlieS

we were not really sure why no receipt was not sent to us after the
filing. we called the information line and none of our call was ansered
by live person. so we turned to email. Our first response from CSC was
that they, however, do not answer questions as such. But we explained
about our difficultly finding a live person to talk with. She emailed us
back with good news.
Nice to see everything is going forward with CSC.

Hehehe.....you've probably jinxed me now and I'll never receive anything
ever ever again from CSC.
Actually, it looks like maybe a month or so for me going by other
peoples approvals and timelines but i put such little thought into it.
USCIS works by their own weird crazy little ways and experience has
taught me that as soon as you start expecting something to happen in the
immediate future, that's when it all goes pear shaped

On the flip side, I just know you are waiting for me to post that I
received approval knowing you filed right after me
