That's right, I was speaking about the visa K.

If you are referring to the K-1 fiance(e) visa (which the alien fiance is eligible for after the I129f is approved), then the K-1 is a nonimmigrant visa. After marriage, the alien spouse can file for permanent residency, which would adjust their status to "immigrant."  I don't know anything about the spousal K visas, as I was told they also use the I129f petition? Juliet |

yes, what juliet said..
I am going to the consulate on tuesday and one of the forms I take with me says non-immigrant.. wasnt exactly sure what that all meant really.. but there ya go makes more sense now.. |
