Default How will I know

Hello

I sent today all the paperwork for a I-130 so I can bring my mexican
wife to the United States, but now I do not know how am I supposed to
know when the service Center has received my package and when should I
give the next step.

Any help on this matter will be apreciated

They will send you a 'Notice of Approval' (NOA) in a few days. We did a
k-1, not a k-3, but as i understand it, you can start working on the I-
129f right away. See FAQ's on www.visajourney.com for some great
information on how to proceed.

If you're not going the K-3 route, then I believe you'll get an NOA for
the I-130, and then a bill from NVC once your file gets there, before
heading to consulate in Mexico. However, we did a K-1 visa. I'm
reciting this from what I've read on this forum.

Because we did a k-1 (fiance visa), we got to skip the I-130 part. But
the next part is the same for both k-1 and k-3, which is to file the I-
129f and all the supporting documents. Read the FAQ part of that link i
sent you, it really will help.
