Hi..here i am again asking some questions..

My husband had applied for me and my sons sponsorship inland too, the immigration in canada turned over our papers at the CANADIAN EMBASSY,MANILA (Philippines)late August. By November 2, 2005, i got an URGENT letter from the embassy stating that the letter serves to confirm receipt of my immigration application package. In the letter they said it will take 6 months for the papers to be process (the service standards for the processing of the Family Class cases)

My question is will this 6 months be accurate or an extension to the processing will happen that may prolong our waiting?

All visa posts try to complete Spousal applications within six months. If there is no medical problems they should be close to that time line.

Thanks for the reply...as of now i am now here in canada with my husband and kids its been a month already since i arrive here in vancouver so far it is good and im enjoying the place with my family......

hi jen,i read ur msgs.im ivy from cebu & married to a canadian citizen last jan 2006,my husband submit the spousal application last march 28,2006,until we didnt have any news and since were in a hurry to live together so we need to get the file accelerate,my question is how long after u submit the application in canada to get process and send to canadian embassy in manila?i mean the day u submit the aplication how long until u get approved..thanks and have good day.

hi ivy about your question..from the moment that my hubby submitted the application here at the immigration it took almost a month to review the papers and if there's no problem and the papers complete they will forward it to canadian embassy there in makati then from the moment they recieved the receipt of your file application they will start processing it for 5-6 months the latest will be 6 months the earliest is 3 months...ours was only 4 months but since my baby doesnt have his canadian passport yet it took us another month for our visa package released...

so patience is all you needed...

hi jhen good day,thanks for replying my msg..Last week my husband received letter from canadian immigration confirming that his capable of sponsoring me that our file has been submitted to quebec govt for provincial eligibility then to canadian embassy in makati..i have 1 question how can we know that our file has error or imcomplete?were waiting now for the next move of our file..so its cleared that 6 months is the most for the processing the application..Once again thanks so much for your comments & adviced..Have a good day..bye bye..

hi Jen,

Im ivy,i want to ask question from u,because i got urgent letter from Canadian embassy in Makati city telling the receipt of completed docs,and asking my original passport and 6 pcs of passport sized pictures..i sent last june17..so im asking from ur experienced how long to wait the result and if theres a possiblity to get approved?bcs in their letter only passport and pics are needed no other docs..
