Default How long to process WHV?

Hoping for my brother, aged 20, to come across and join us for a while.
He hasn't done the whole travelling thing and of course mum now thinking
she's losing both kids to Australia!

Anyway I thought, from my online research, it would be an email reply
type turnaround ... but he submitted about 10 days ago so obviously not
that quick.

Anyone else know?

Cheers!

My took less than 24 hours (online application), but that was 4 years
ago.

He should have heard by now.
When I submitted mine online, I received immediate instructions to
undergo a medical examination (because of my occupation). I then
received e mail confirmation of grant of WHV within 48 hours of them
receiving my medical.

It may be that the email has gone into the ether...

I would suggest a phone call to DIMA to ask.
