Default How long is the K-3 visa good for?

Hello everyone, would appreciate your experience. Thank you in advance
for your kind help.

I am a US citizen, my wife is a Dutch citizen. We live in Canada.
I am also a Canadian citizen and my wife should become one in a few
months.

I had sent in a I-130 for her and had received the receipt, I-797C.

I want to file a I-129F for a K-3 visa for her.

There are two questions. First, which consulate should I put down for
question B20? We live in Toronto, but does the interview take place at
Montreal?

Second, how long is the actual K-3 good for? I mean, when does my wife
have to present herself at a port of entry with the visa, before it
expires? I do not mean the actual status (2 years?) itself. Or do the
two coincide?

I am unemployed right now and there is a good chance I will be moving
back to the States for a new job. But we will stay in Canada before I
find one. So, if we go ahead and apply and let us say receive a K-3
visa, when does my wife have to enter the US once she has the visa?

Thank you for your kind help.

Cheers,
Bernard
