Default How to Get Assessed via ASPC

Hi

I m new to this site. I visited Immi.Gov.Au but never find about it. I hope that someone here might give me some idea.

I want to apply under Analyst Programmer. I did IELTS in 2004 with 6.5 and obviously that has been expired. What i want to know is that

1 - How can i get assessed my application through ASPC ? I mean what documents i will have to send ? what originals i will have to send ? and a step by step guide to this process. Moreover, m i supposed to do IELTS again ?

please let me know about the process step by step. like

step 1 - Download all the forms and booklet
step 2 - read the booklet
step 3 - assess my self on point basis ( i assessed and got 120)
step 4 - fill the forms
step 5 - copy/translate all support documents

whats next ??? are these steps correct ? Actually i dont wanna apply through any agent i wanna do it my self.

Please help

The first you thing you need to do before you can apply for a visa is to
get your skills assessed.

Australian Computer Society assess IT skills and issue you the skills
assessment you will need for your visa application.

Hi

Friends, first of all I would like to congratulate everyone who got
their visa.

Now, come to my point. I want to apply for AUZI Visa (136) with my Wife
and a 1 Month old cute son.

I am an IT Pro. I have a BSC Degree in Computer Sciences and B.Com.
My wife is a Librarian in one of the Best Library in karachi. Our ages
are 27 & 26 respectively. I would apply as Analyst Programmer.

Please let me know what is the best way to apply ? Like what are the
best practices. How much the application cost ? How much time it require
? am i supposed to apply from Pakistan or I can apply from any other
location also ?

Another point to be noted is that I have applied for Canadian
Immigration, and in August 2007 their 36 Months will be complete (as
they said in their ACK LETTER that your application will be completed
within 36 months)

Please guide !!

Thanks

It looks like you want the people here to do the hard work for you,
while you chill out. If you're serious about migrating, download Booklet
6 and read from page one to last - everything is in plain english - you
can't go wrong if you do your legwork right. You are asking questions
even before you read anything.

If you don't have time to read booklet, you should consider hiring an
agent. A step by step guidance/advise doesn't come free.

All the best.

The Rock,

Sorry I agree with Jeeva.

You have to make a decision - either you pay a migration agent to help
you with the application OR you do the research and do it yourself.

This site is fantastic for answering specific questions or problems, but
you need to do the work yourself first.

Good luck
