Default How do you proof 16 years of self employment

My husband is a self employed plumber, I do his tax returns, but all
paperwork prior to Oct 1999 was taken as he went bankrupt. How do we
prove his experience etc. He has been registered with CORGI since then
and I am sure we can prove this, but is it enough?

Thanks so much that's really helped. We're going to New Zealand, so
we're waiting to see what the new Category is going to be like at the
end of the year. It should be in our favour, we are one point short,
but as it stand at the moment you have to have a confirmed job. This is
only short term till the new Category takes over though I believe.
Looking at the Work Visa we could go out on that as it includes the Self
Employed, unless I have that wrong. But one way or another I can't see
us having any real problems except with my medical.
