It seems that anything that can be cheaply controlled by medication such
as BP is not a problem to visa grant.

I seem to remember seeing a post about somebody with high BP before but
I think theirs was currently under medical (beta-blocker) control which
was fine. I guess if it is high, you will probably have to get
medication and confirmation by your doctor that it is under control, or
the medical people will put you on a 6 month medical pass (and ask you
to attend somewhere in Oz when you turn up) instead of the usual 12
month grant.

Then again, I'm not a doctor. I am just going on what, by memory, I have
read on here previously.

I had high blood pressure at my medical. Panel doctor allowed me to
go to my own GP to get more readings done in case it was just down
to nerves.

My BP was still a bit high so my GP did an ECG, blood and urine tests.
The tests came back clear and I sent the results of these tests to DIMIA
along with my application.

My medical was referred to Australia because the panel doctor put me
down as "Category B" on the form. I still got my Spouse Visa two weeks
after applying - with no medical undertaking and I still have the 12
months to validate it.

Don't worry about it - if everything else is fine then you won't have
a problem.

Good Luck.
