I changed my status from F1 to H1b last year, and never go out of US
afterwards, so my passport don't have any H1B visa stamp(I was on F1
status when last time I went out of US). Now I am planing to visit
Toronto the week after next.

My question is : can I come back to US without applying visa in US
embassy in Canada?

Most likely, yes. You would need a visa to return to the US if:

- you are a citizen of Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Lybia, Syria, North Korea or
Cuba, or

- you stay in Canada for more than 30 days, or

- you left Canada for some other country, or

- you applied for a US visa in Canada.
