Hi every one.

I graduated in the field of Clinical Psychology last semester. I have
been on paid employment as a psychologist assisstance for more than 4
years. I started my study about 7 years ago but had to leave it for
sometime and then continue again. Will DIMIA accept this period of
employment from me or should the three years of Specific work experience
be after the graduation date? (I attended uni in the mornings and work
at the clinic from 2 to 8)

Sammy,

If you were working as an Assistant and unqualified I don't know if you
could use that work experience??

If you can, you need to have worked at least 20 hours a week for 12 out
of the last 18 months.

If you are claiming the 10 points for specific work experience, it needs
to be 3 years out of the last 4.

Well I was doing exactly what a psychologist does but I just didn't have
the degree. I need the 10 points for specific work experience. do you
think DIMIA accepts the 3 years or should my wk experience be after my
graduation date?

Hopefully an agent will suggest something.

But I know if you work as a Teacher Assistant or Unqualified Teacher
this won't count as work experience until you are qualified as a Teacher
(just an example!)

You HAVE to be doing a job on the SOL list.
