Australia Australia is geographically the sixth-largest country in the world, and the only one to occupy an entire continent. Living in such a large country makes is difficult to find other expats. Connect with each other here.

Question Help!

I am in a relationship with an Aussie citizen who I met a couple years back over in Oz and we have been over to each others home and families etc loads of times. I am hoping to emigrate in 2008 when I retire over here. Our problem is which visa, I am too old apparently for a skills visa, and dont have enough money for a retirement visa. We cant marry at the moment as he is attending a very sick wife who one day will need special carers needs. Both families have given us their blessing to live together in Australia but how do we proceed next. I still intend to work when/if I ever get over there as I am not past it yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
