Default Heeeeeelp me please!

I want to emmigrate to the USA but VISAs confuse me so much! I qualify
for the VISA waiver program so I can gain temporary access. I want to
stay permanently but I'm not sure what should be done. So once I am
there do I apply for the Green Card or get a work Visa? As I said, I
really don't understand.
Any assisstance would be greatly appreciated.

You can't just apply for a GC or work visa.
There is lots of information available on the Web, e.g.,
